Processing of personal data
For clarity, three possible user cases and their outcomes are devised below when it comes to personal data collection: (1) visiting the website, (2) submitting comments to the website, (3) submitting events to the website.
Visiting the website
Solidarity Platform preserves the anonymity of their visitors and does not collect any “personally identifiable” personal data of them. For audience analysis purposes, the website collects anonymized (unidentifiable) information regarding website visits. This information relates to: visitor’s web browser, operating system, screen size and place of visit. This information is collected through Matomo Analytics, a service hosted On-Premise by ourselves. In addition to this, the website might use third-party cookies for functional purposes. These cookies relate to the use of embedded media (Youtube, Vimeo, Soundcloud…) and your consent will be asked in the case some of our webpages use these.
Submitting comments to the website
Solidarity Platform preserves the anonymity of visitors that submit comments to the platform. When submitting a comment, in addition to what is collected for visitors, we will also collect the following (not personally identifiable) data:
- Comment content (textual, the nature of “identifiability” depends on the comment’s content)
- An anonymized identifier (for spam prevention purposes)
- An identifier and a key linked to your comment (for allowing you to access your data
- Consent to our terms of service and privacy and data policy
Submitting events to the website
For functional and editorial purposes, Solidarity Platform collects personally identifiable data when submitting an event to its platform. In addition to what is collected for visitors, we will also collect the following data:
- Contact information (name and email)
- Event content (textual and image)
- An anonymized identifier (for spam prevention purposes)

Solidarity Platform takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any User Content that you or any other User or third-party posts or sends over the Platform. You retain your rights to any User Content (“User Content”) submitted by you. By submitting content on the Service, you warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant The Platform license to publish, transmit, display, and distribute of such User Content through the website and in means of communication and dissemination under the responsibility of The Platform.

Purposes
Solidarity Platform processes your data in order to execute and improve our services, and in order to compile user statistics. We do not use your data for commercial purposes nor share them to third-parties.
Your right of correction and deletion of data
In the case of a request to delete data, Solidary Platform will delete the data insofar as this is technically possible. If you would like to delete or correct data, you can submit a request for this via email address solidarityplatform@rietveldacademie.nl.

Solidarity Platform is not responsible for the content of these websites and is also not responsible for the privacy policy and the use of cookies on these websites.
