Radio Rietveld is a student-run platform that proliferates audio-based content from the GRA community and friends. Beyond broadcasting, the Radio serves as a transdisciplinary meeting space through physical and digital happenings. Steaming from radio.rietveldacademie.nl and uploading to Soundcloud. Currently run by Aske Hvitved, Bert McLean and Helena Musillo. Formally run by Fernanda Barhumi and Oliver Feghali.

PUB is a trans-departmental initiative funded by and run by students of the Sandberg Institute. Establishing a publishing practice at the University, PUB functions as a hub and a platform to identify interdisciplinary connections and accelerate collaborations amongst students, alumni and third parties. PUB’s channels include radio, Tv, PUBcast, website, Type Lab, Journal, and publishing sessions.

The Rietveld Pavilion is the student run project space of The Gerrit Rietveld Academie and The Sandberg Instituut. The Pavilion provides a platform for students and alumni to experiment, to discuss and to learn by making use of the autonomous space. The aim of the pavilion is to keep the space active and alive, and to bring students together to exchange ideas and to support them in collaborative projects.

Rietveld Journal is a free publication run by students of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and Sandberg Instituut and distributed at the Academie, in the Netherlands and internationally. It is an open platform for the community of these two institutions to share anything that could be printed matter. The Journal’s range of themes and kinds of content is an accurate representation of how multifaceted the Academie is. Every issue of the Journal consists of poems, photographs, essays, comics, notes, fictional stories, collages, tutorials and much more. Everything goes in, there is no kind of content that’s unsuitable. There is a different Graphic Design Team, in charge of the visuals for every issue, and the Editorial Team, that guarantees space for all the contributions and proofreads everything.
